Market Update for August 28, 2018

In today's video:

1) U.S. equities closed mostly flat on Tuesday after a low range low volume trading session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 14.38 points, the S&P 500 added just 0.78 points while the Nasdaq 100 closed higher by 12.14 points and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 0.02 points.

2) They bond market was under pressure Tuesday lifting the yield on the 10-year treasury note up to 2.879 after consumer confidence hit its highest level since October of 2000. Crude Oil Futures dropped slightly while Gold Futures gave back $8.90.

3) Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU) will be releasing earnings later this week and investors are expecting to see strong numbers. The stock has been trending strongly all year long and it's implied volatility has been spiking significantly heading into the earnings announcement.
