In Today's Update:
1) Stocks closed mixed on Wednesday as Traders and Investors continue to wait for news on U.S.-China trade relations. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 72.82 or 0.28%, the S&P 500 fell 1.52 or 0.05% while the Nasdaq 100 closed higher by 5.21 or 0.07% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 3.57 or 0.23%.
2) Crude Oil Futures rallied another $1.52 or 2.74% after a plunge in U.S. Crude stockpiles while Gold Futures dropped $7.00 or 0.53% on strength in the U.S. dollar. The Bond market moved lower and the yield on the 10-year treasury note edged higher and settled at 2.668%.
3) The after-hours trading session is quickly turning into a nightmare scenario as a slew of weaker-than-expected earnings reports have spurred significant selling. Square (SQ), Fitbit (FIT), Box Inc. (BOX), HP Inc. (HPQ), and Booking Holdings (BKNG) are all down sharply after hours which could result in a lower open tomorrow morning.
