1) U.S. Equity markets post gains for a fourth straight session and close at record highs yet again. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 100.51 or 0.36%, the S&P 500 added 22.65 or 0.71% while the NASDAQ 100 closed higher by 79.35 or 0.91% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 11.96 or 0.73%.
2) Crude Oil Futures closed slightly higher on Monday while Gold Futures finished the day slightly lower as did the U.S. dollar. The Bond market showed weakness and the 10-Year Treasury Note settled at 1.876%.
3) The Dow Jones Industrial Average just hit a fresh new record high and many believe it can continue to go higher. Others however, are not so confident and it is mainly because the Dow Transportation Average continues to post lower highs and lower lows.
