In today's update:
1) U.S. Equity markets bounced back from a four-day losing streak to close higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 146.97 or 0.53%, the S&P 500 added 19.56 or 0.63% while the NASDAQ 100 closed higher by 46.03 or 0.54% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 11.28 or 0.70%.
2) Crude Oil Futures soared $2.26 or 4.03% after a much bigger-than-expected drop in U.S. Crude inventories while Gold Futures dropped $4.20 or 0.28%. The Bond market was week on Wednesday and the yield on the 10-Year Treasury Note settled at 1.773%.
3) Shares of Slack Technologies Inc. (WORK) have been in a steady decline since going public last June. The stock has lost half its value but today they reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings and the stock is currently trading higher by $0.68 or 3.14% in the after-hours trading session.
