1) U.S. Equity markets rallied for a second straight trading session but faded into the close. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 495.64 or 2.39%, the S&P 500 added 28.23 or 1.15% while the NASDAQ 100 closed lower by 33.56 or 0.45% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 13.12 or 1.20%.
2) Crude Oil Futures finished the day higher by $0.48 or 2% while Gold Futures fell $23.30 or 1.43%. The U.S. dollar was weaker Wednesday while the Bond market traded significantly lower and the yield on the 10-Year Treasury Note settled at 0.844%.
3) Micron Technology Inc. (MU) reported quarterly earnings after market close and beat analysts expectations. Shares of MU closed lower in today's regular trading session but are currently trading higher by $3.28 or 7.74% in the after-hours trading session.
