1) Small Caps along with Technology and Healthcare stocks led the way as U.S. Equities hit fresh new highs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 190.85 or 0.68%, the S&P 500 added 23.35 or 0.75% while the NASDAQ 100 closed higher by 112.60 or 1.32% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 32.96 or 2.07%.
2) Crude Oil futures finished slightly higher while Gold Futures dropped $8.50 or 0.58%. The U.S. dollar and the Bond market traded higher while the yield on the 10-Year Treasury Note settled at 1.757%.
3) Equity markets continue to push higher and there are three sector ETFs that look poised for more gains. XLV (Healthcare ETF) just reached a new all-time high while XLK (Technology ETF) and XLB (Materials ETF) are very close to doing the same.
