1) U.S. Equity markets continue to trickle higher as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 55.21 or 0.20%, the S&P 500 added 6.88 or 0.22% while the NASDAQ 100 closed higher by 15.44 or 0.18% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 2.33 or 0.14%.
2) Crude Oil Futures advanced $0.34 or 0.59% while Gold Futures added $5.60 or 0.38% on slight weakness in the U.S. dollar. The Bond market finished the day higher and the yield on the 10-Year Treasury Note settled at 1.740%.
3) Two retailers reported quarterly earnings before market open resulting in major moves during today's regular trading session. Best Buy Co Inc. (BBY) beat estimates and closed higher by $7.32 or 9.86% while Dollar Tree Inc. (DLTR) missed forecast estimates and closed lower by $17.13 or 15.24%.
