1) U.S. Equity markets rebounded Wednesday making back Tuesday's losses after tensions eased between protesters and the government of Hong Kong. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 237.45 or 0.91%, the S&P 500 added 31.51 or 1.08% while the NASDAQ 100 closed higher by 102.72 or 1.30% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 12.47 or 0.85%.
2) Crude Oil Futures spiked $2.07 or 3.84% on positive economic data out of China while Gold Futures closed higher by $6.10 or 0.39%. The Bond market traded slightly higher and the yield on the 10-Year Treasury Note settled at 1.469%.
3) After-market close, Slack Technologies Inc. (WORK) reported stronger-than-expected Q3 earnings and revenue but lowered their forward guidance for the coming year. The stock, which has been trending lower since going public on June 20, 2019, jumped $2.31 or 8.03% during the regular trading session but is currently trading lower by $4 .17 or 13.42% in the after-hours trading session.
