Market Update for July 1, 2019

In today's update:

1) Stocks weakened after gapping higher but still managed to close in positive territory. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 117.47 or 0.44%, the S&P 500 added 22.57 or 0.77% while the Nasdaq 100 closed higher by 84.92 or 1.06% and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 3.09 or 0.20%.

2) Crude Oil Futures advanced $0.61 or 1.04% after OPEC extends oil cut while Gold Futures traded sharply lower on strength in the U.S. dollar. The Bond market pulled back and the yield on the 10-year Treasury Note settled at 2.029%.

3) TLT, the Ishares trust 20-year Treasury Bond ETF soared during the month of May but spent the next 30 days consolidating. What will it do next?
