Market Update for March 5, 2019
In Today's Update:
1) Stocks closed slightly lower after another low range, low volume day on Wall Street. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 13.02 or 0.05%, the S&P 500 fell 3.16 or 0.11% while the Nasdaq 100 closed lower by 1.21 or 0.02% and the Russell 2000 finished lower by 7.15 or 0.45%.
2) Crude Oil Futures finished the day lower closing down $0.35 or 0.62% while Gold Futures rallied in late day trading despite continued strength in the U.S. dollar. The Bond market was flat and the yield on the 10-year treasury note settled at 2.717%.
