Market Update for October 4, 2018

In today's video:

1) U.S. Equities rallied late in the day but still closed significantly lower on fears of rising rates. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 200.91 points, the S&P 500 fell 23.90 points while the Nasdaq 100 closed lower by 145.58 points and the Russell 2000 finished lower by 24.38 points.

2) Crude Oil Futures dropped sharply today closing lower by $1.78 or 2.33% while Gold Futures edged higher by just $0.80 or 0.07%. The Bond market continued to drop lifting the yield on the 10-year treasury note to 3.188%.

3) The after-hours trading session is being dominated by two stocks, Tesla (TSLA) and Costco (COST). TSLA is trading lower by more than 2% after Elon Musk sent out a tweet insulting the SEC and COST is dropping sharply after reporting earnings in line with analysts' expectations.
