Market Update for September 20, 2018
In today's video:
1) New all-time highs for both the Dow 30 and the S&P 500 as U.S. Equities close out another optimistic day on Wall Street. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 251.22 points, the S&P 500 added 22.80 points while the Nasdaq 100 closed higher by 78.19 points and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 17.25 points.
2) Crude Oil Futures dropped slightly today while Gold Futures hit a one-week high on more weakness in the U.S. dollar. The Bond market bounced today but the yield on the 10-year treasury note held steady at 3.063%.
3) The banking sector continued its move higher today but One bank made an announcement that could negatively affect its share price moving forward. Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) disclosed that it plans to cut up to 10% of its Workforce in the next three years.
