Market Update for September 6, 2018
In today's video:
1) U.S. equities closed mostly lower again today as Tech stocks and chipmaker's experienced heavy selling. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 20.88 points, the S&P 500 fell 10.55 points while the Nasdaq 100 closed lower by 72.45 points and the Russell 2000 finished lower by 13.16 points.
2) Crude Oil Futures dropped for the third straight session after a rise in U.S. Crude Stockpiles and Gold Futures gained $4.30 at the official close due mostly to weakness in the U.S. dollar. The Bond market advanced today resulting in a drop in yield on the 10-year treasury note to 2.875.
3) From a technical analysis perspective the four main equity index charts continue to look very strong, but we are starting to see signs of a potential near-term reversal. In today's video, we will look at why tomorrow's close could be a potential turning point.
